Andrew qualified in 1987 from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh. He worked in mixed practice in Lincoln for a year before returning to Edinburgh to study for a PhD in immunology.
He then moved down to the North East and worked in Sunderland for a year before joining Clark & Scott in Concord. He was a partner at Sheriffs Highway Veterinary Group for ten years before leaving to take sole responsibility for the practice at Concord.
He is mainly interested in medicine cases, but runs the advanced ear clinics and performs most of the ear surgery. In 2008 he imported the first Aesculight carbon dioxide surgical laser into the UK having been on an intensive laser surgery course in America. He also performs most of our orthopaedic operations, including the new MMP procedure for cruciate disease in dogs.
