Welcome to Dragon Veterinary Centre.

We are a 100% small animal practice dealing with first opinion pets and taking referrals in skin and ear disease.

 

We are based in Washington, Tyne & Wear, with excellent transport links to Tyneside, Wearside, County Durham and Northumberland.

A veterinary surgery has been in Concord House since 1985, originally part of Clark & Scott. It moved into the courtyard in 1996 as Clark, Scott & Henfrey when a dedicated operating theatre, radiography and kennelling were added.

The practice separated from Sheriffs Highway Veterinary Group in 2005 when Dr & Mrs Henfrey formed Dragon Veterinary Centre to offer high quality first opinion and dermatology referrals. The facilities were expanded to include ultrasound scanning and video endoscopy. An additional office unit was taken after the fire of 2006 to allow room for the expanding staff and case load.

Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Tier 2 Approved Practice status was granted after inspection in 2006.

We are located behind Front Street in Concord, Washington. We occupy three units within Concord House which are all on one level and have easy access. On our doorstep is a 400 space free car park.

We are a single branch so case continuity is easily arranged

We take referrals in dermatology and ear disease, and can offer state-of the-art laser surgery
